Image reading, writing, and processing library for visual effects.
OpenImageIO supplies image input, output and processing tools for visual-effects and animation pipelines. Applications use format-independent APIs backed by file-format plugins, with Python bindings for the major interfaces. Its command-line programs convert images, inspect metadata and compare results; image caching and filtered texture lookups also support renderers and other image-processing applications.
