Toolkit for evaluating systems against security configuration standards.
OpenSCAP provides the oscap command-line tool for working with Security Content Automation Protocol documents. Administrators can validate data streams, evaluate OVAL definitions and run selected XCCDF profiles against a system. The tool writes scan results to files and generates guides or reports from XCCDF content, supporting scripted assessment workflows using supplied checks and benchmarks.
