Neural architecture search framework that combines LLM-written model programs with population-based evolution.
OpenArchEvo searches neural architecture programs using language-model mutations and population-based evolution. It compares candidates through code, design rationale and behavioral fingerprints, uses a surrogate to screen proposals, and sends selected programs for training. Researchers can adapt the task and program contract; real searches use an LLM endpoint, GPU surrogate service and training machines, while a CPU dry run substitutes offline components.
