Python tools for decoding first-generation Apple Siri Remote touch, button, and gesture input on Linux.
open-appleremote is a Python package for reading first-generation Apple Siri Remotes on Linux through BlueZ. It unlocks the device and decodes touch, button and gesture reports into events for other applications. Command-line monitors and a local web lab inspect those events, while capture replay supports development without a connected remote. Newer remote generations are not supported.
