Linux distribution for hardware management controllers.

OpenBMC is a Linux distribution for management controllers in servers, switches and storage appliances. Platform developers build firmware for supported hardware using Yocto and OpenEmbedded. Its management functions include power and cooling control, inventory, events, firmware updates, remote KVM and virtual media, exposed through interfaces including a web UI, REST and D-Bus; board support varies by platform.
