Libraries and tools for high dynamic range EXR images.

OpenEXR supplies the EXR image-format specification and reference implementation for storing scene-linear, high-dynamic-range images and associated metadata. Applications use its libraries in rendering, texture access and compositing workflows, including deep compositing. The format supports multiple parts and channels within two-dimensional image data, and the project includes a C++ example that writes pixel arrays to an EXR file.
