Multilayer virtual network switch.

Open vSwitch provides a software switch for virtual-machine networking across physical servers. Administrators configure VLANs, interface bonds, tunnels and traffic policies, and control forwarding through OpenFlow. Its daemon uses a transactional configuration database and forwards through a Linux kernel module or userspace datapath. Userspace supports DPDK devices; the non-DPDK userspace datapath is experimental.
