Command-line tool for creating and verifying Bitcoin-backed timestamp proofs for files and signed Git commits.
OpenTimestamps Client is a Python command-line tool that creates and verifies timestamp proofs anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain. It can timestamp files and PGP-signed Git commits, inspect proof operations, and upgrade incomplete proofs using calendar attestations. Creating timestamps uses remote calendars; verification requires a local Bitcoin Core node, which may be pruned.
