Design model rockets and simulate their aerodynamics and flight trajectories.

OpenRocket lets model-rocket builders assemble designs from components, inspect them in 3D and simulate flight before construction. It supports staged rockets and motor clusters, six-degree-of-freedom simulation, design optimization and plots of flight results. This Java-based application can export designs to RockSim or RASAero II and component geometry to OBJ or SVG for fabrication workflows.
