Open Library is a web application for maintaining an editable book catalog, with book and author discovery and reader-curated lists. Developers can query catalog data through public APIs or obtain monthly data dumps for bulk use. The Python application also has a documented Docker-based local development setup for contributors working on catalog features and integrations.
