OpenABL adds a graphical boot menu and standard Linux boot methods to Qualcomm Android bootloader firmware for supported handheld chipsets. Users can select Linux or Android and choose internal storage, SD cards or USB drives as boot sources. The menu supports boot entries, recovery options and persistent settings; installation requires firmware flashing for the matching chipset.
