Retrieval-augmented language-model pipeline that searches scientific papers and synthesizes source-grounded answers.
OpenScholar helps researchers answer questions using scientific literature by retrieving relevant papers and generating responses grounded in those sources. Its Python pipeline supports local language-model inference, retrieval and reranking, with additional retrieval through Semantic Scholar and optional web search APIs. The repository also provides training code and tools for offline retrieval or hosted retrieval servers.
